Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
Never let His words depart.
Love Him with your soul and with your mind.

Place no other gods before the Lord,
And always carry His great sword.
For He is first and always faithful,
Keep His word and remain grateful.

Do not make any graven image,
And against the Lord there will be no scrimmage.
Place no thing in heaven, water, or earth,
To bow down to them there is simply no worth.

Do not take His name in vain,
It will cause you grief, hardness, and pain.
His name is placed above all,
No vain thing shall He ever be called.

Remember the Sabbath, His day of rest,
Believe that the Lord wants only the best.
It is His day He has set aside,
For all of those whose faith is tried.
