Surrealism is literary and art movement influenced by dreams, stream of the consciousness, imagination and freedom. The movement was founded in Paris by André Breton. Surrealists support arbitrariness, freedom of thinking, dreams and everything upper reality. Absurdism is philosophy, when idea is based on meaningless actions and events in life. Common elements in absurdism include satire, dark humour, incongruity, the abasement of reason, and controversy.
