Taja Kramberger (1970), a poet, an essayist, a translator and an activist. She is a university teacher and reseaecher (she has PhD from history and historical anthropology). After the illegal (neoliberal) university purge of critical intellectuals under the name of “rationalisation of the personnel” at the University of Primorska in Koper in 2010 and futher socio-political pressures on her and her husband Drago Braco Rotar in Slovenia, she has left the country and now lives in exile in Paris. She distances herself of Slovenian literary field and its passes-partout representatives (detractors), but keeps good relationships with rare poets from Slovenia who care for people and do their work honestly.
