The Wall

The road that was once broken, The steps that once took them. The grass that once pierced through, The city it went to.   The wheat that grew for harvest, The sweat that made the best. The bread that filled the eyes, The same that saw the skies.   The joy of once hard work, The reward with special perks. The feeling that nothing's rotten Was once forgotten.   For every wall surrounds A city that once fell.
