Talking into the darkness, hiding yourself.
What is supposedly you, isn't really there,
But a blank page of mysteries you wish
To show to the world but daren't care.
You can never be somebody here
Because you can never be exposed.
Just a set of pixels sworn together
By the imagination of those
That can see it, behind the door
You've given and decidedly locked.
The dream you've led is made real,
That somebody is stopped and blocked.
To the others in this reality,
You are there to be that nobody.
In which you are there to pretend
To be the dream of that somebody.
Your eyes will watch the new world,
It'll unfold into something timeless,
Something bold, where you stand out.
But still you are the useless,
Frightful somebody that has sat there
Dreaming of this new life that is not.
Your true you is to be left from you
As the life you had is forgot.
And once more, where you were somebody,
You are now a nobody
